I recommend Peruvian Soul to everybody! We had the most incredible trip and felt like royalty from beginning to end! All details and booking were handled by Shawna from KimKim in advance with a full itinerary so we didn’t have to coordinate anything. Once we arrived, Cesar (private tour guide) and Odi (private driver) from Peruvian Soul were by our side every step of the way with fun anecdotes, interesting historical facts, and amazing interactions with locals. They had lots of little surprises for us like an interactive art experience, side tours, and more. It was truly a once in a lifetime trip and I would recommend KimKim and Peruvian Soul to anyone in a heartbeat (and already have)!

Traveling With the Children of the Sun Our recent trip to Peru was filled with fun and physical challenges. The Inca Trail from KM 82 to Machu Picchu is a good endurance test with elevation gains of approximately 5,000 feet and many ups and downs over four days and 30 miles. Please be physically prepared for this test. It will not be fun if you are sore or ill during the hiking and camping. Having guides and drivers during our entire trip was a real plus. Valeria, Julio, Chino, Yisus, Enrique, and Willy were wonderful ambassadors of Peru. Many thanks to Anne and Jesus for organizing such a fun and eventful trip. Recommend that you change a little money at a bank or at the airport ahead of landing in Peru. The exchange rate at the airport is poor but having soles in your pocket should help with tipping, etc. when you arrive. Your guides can help you with larger exchanges during your trip. ATM’s are another great source for soles. The Quechua, Aymara, and Uros peoples are happy and pleasant to be around. The Peruvian people seem to be hardworking and fun loving rolled into one. The Barranco and Miraflores are must see destinations while in Lima. Cusco and Saxay Wumun, Moray, Marasal, Puno, Ollantytambo, the Sacred Valley, and Lake Titicaca all had much to offer visitors. Whether you hike or take the train, Machu Picchu should be on everyone’s itinerary. The children of the Sun have a rich heritage and are happy to share their history with anyone who wishes to see. Hi, from start to finish my visit to Peru was superb, all thanks to Peruvian Soul. Everything was well organised from the small things like being picked up/dropped off at the airports to the tour guides (especially Willie around Machu Picchu and Cusco). Nothing was ever a problem if we had to tweak things. I’m not one of those people who write glowing reviews for the sake of it, but this company truly deserve it.
